Welcome to The Body Garden Massage & Wellness! I am looking forward to being part of your health journey. A few things about me...I'm Erin Smith, LMT #3468. I grew up here in Pike County and moved to North Carolina where I studied massage in Asheville, NC at the Center for Massage and Natural Health.
My style is deeper, therapeutic work, and like to incorporate some passive stretching, which provides deep relief of long-held tension and imbalances, and helps to fully express the range of muscles. This passion for deep work and stretching lead me to a lesser known modality here in MS called Thai massage, which I also offer in addition to table massages. I view massage as an essential component of healthcare. Nothing replaces quality of life, which is something that may suffer due to chronic pain, as I am sure you are aware! NEW CLIENTS ONLY- You are considered a new client even if I have seen you before at a different location. This is because I have a new electronic system for storing intake forms and need the new ones filled out. Please select a "New Client" option when booking to ensure that the correct paperwork is completed before your appointment.
RETURNING CLIENTS- We recommend creating an account to keep track of your appointments. You can manage your appointments easily through your account in the future. This is located at the top right of the screen in tiny font.
SCHEDULING OUTSIDE OF BUSINESS HOURS- $20 Priority Booking Fee. If you wish to schedule outside of business hours shown, please contact me directly via phone or email as you will not be able to schedule online.
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book your appointment. If the full amount of the service has been paid, and you cancel your appointment with at least a 12 hrs notice, you will be refunded the remaining portion of the cost of the service, but not the 50% deposit. No refunds will be awarded for same day cancellations. In the event of a no-call, no-show for the appointment, you will still be charged for the 50% deposit and the remaining cost of the appointment. A $25.00 fee will be charged to your card if you reschedule with less than 2 hour's notice. This will not affect your 50% deposit, which still holds your future appointment. Thank you for understanding that this policy is necessary for small businesses to continue to operate.
